1.0 OBJECTIVE To lay down a procedure for Operation of Hydraulic Press. 2.0 SCOPE This sop covers the operation procedure for hydraulic press and is applicable to Quality control department.. 3.0 RESPONSIBILITY Executive. 4.0 ACCOUNTABILITY Department Head. 5.0 PROCEDURE 5.1 GENERAL CLEANING PROCEDURE 5.1.1 Clean the instrument with a clean dry cloth every day. 5.1.2 Occasionally wet cloth dipped in dilute soap solution may be used. 5.1.3 Precaution to be taken to clean the instrument immediately with dry cloth to remove the moisture. 5.2 OPERATING PROCEDURE 5.2.1 Clean the plunger and Anvil with Solvent to remove Grease. 5.2.2 Assemble the Top and Bottom Guide. 5.2.3 Insert Anvil with polished surface facing upwards in the Top Guide. 5.2.4 Fill evenly 400gm – 500 gm Potassium ...
