1.0 PURPOSE
To define standard pest control procedure and to keep the plant and entire area free of insects, pests etc.
This Blog is created for the updation of knowledge on current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) and current Updates from all regulatory authorities. Also one can archive Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for any Pharma plant.
1.0 PURPOSE
To define standard pest control procedure and to keep the plant and entire area free of insects, pests etc.
2.0 PROCEDURE
a) Spray insecticides and pesticides in corridors and out skirt of building
b) Exclude manufacturing area, QC and Stores areas to avoid contamination to any of raw material, intermediate and finished product.
c) Use insecticides/ pesticides of standard quality in standardardised concentrations
3.0 RESPONSIBILITY
Responsibility of pest control activity is with administration department. The job should be executed by competent house-keeping personnel.
4.0 RECORD
Record of pestcontrol activity should be maintained in log-book
