Storage of Tablets and Granules

1.0 OBJECTIVE
To lay down a procedure for storage of tablets/granules and pellets/capsules.
2.0 SCOPE
Module-1,2,3,4,5 & Quarantine areas.
3.0 RESPONSIBILITY
Production Officer.
4.0 ACCOUNTABILITY
Production Executive.
5.0 PROCEDURE
5.1 Store the materials like Granules, Blend, tablets, pellets & Capsules in double polythene lined HDPE containers.
5.2 Ensure all the polybags are tied properly and labeled.
5.3 If the blend required to be stored in IPC, ensure that the IPC is clean and the bottom butterfly valve is closed properly.
5.4 Ensure all the HDPE/IPC are properly closed with lids and labelled.
5.5 Ensure that the respective storage area & pallets are clean
5.6 Arrange the containers batch wise on pallets in such a way that labels are visible.
5.7 Maintain environmental conditions as specified in Annexure -I.
