LABELING PROCEDURE FOR REAGENTS AND SOLVENTS

1.0. PURPOSE :
To provide a procedure for preparation of Labeling in QC .

Applicable to all reagents/solutions

6.0. PROCEDURE
6.1. All the reagents, solutions, indicators must have proper labeling
6.2. Labels should contain unambiguous contents.
6.3. All the Reagents/Indicators prepared in laboratory should have Name of solution /Indicator and its strength if applicable, Date of preparation, Expiry date and Initial of chemist prepared .
6.4. Label shall clearly indicate the direction of use.
6.5. Solutions/Indicators should be discarded after its expiry and prepared freshly.
