LABELLING PROCEDURE AND CONTROL

1.0. PURPOSE:
To provide procedure for labeling of under test and approved Materials.
2.0 SCOPE:
Applicable to all incoming raw material and packing material
3.0 RESPONSIBILITY:.

4.0. ACCOUNTABILITY:

5.0. DEFINITION:
6.0. PROCEDURE:
6.1. QA should initiate to Quality control for proper labeling conditions.
6.2. Labeling is to be decided as per the stage(under test and approved).
6.3. All incoming Raw materials , Packing materials should be affixed with ‘UNDER TEST’ labels,(yellow) adjacent to container label , including details of
6.3.1. Name of the material
6.3.2. G R N numbering / Invoice number.
6.3.3. Supplier / Manufacturers name.
6.3.4. Manufacturing date.
6.3.5. Expiry date.
6.4. After the material is Approved / Rejected affix ‘APPROVED/REJECTED’ labels covering the yellow colour of under Test label giving details of
6.4.1. Name of material
6.4.2. TRF No
6.4.3. A. R. No
6.4.4. Manufacturer / Supplier
6.4.5. Mfg. date
6.4.6. Exp. date
6.4.7. Retest date
7.0. REFERENCES:

8.0. ENCLOSURES:
Enclosed the Format for ‘UNDER TEST’ & ‘ APPROVED labels’.
